March 2012 DATE/TIME EVENT INFORMATION March 7, 2012  CHIMA/CHIMSS Advocacy Day SAVE THE DATE for our Third Annual Colorado State Health IT Advocacy Day, a collaborative effort between CHIMSS and CHIMA. This educational event promises a full day of activities that includes panel discussions from executives leading key state-wide HIT related projects, Chief Information Officers (CIOs), and the state legislators that are most involved in health issues. You’ll also have the opportunity to have individual meetings with your legislators as well as enjoy a Capitol building tour, and an evening reception following the day’s activities to discuss ongoing policy-based opportunities. This full day event is designed to be very educational as well as productive in creating long-lasting relationships with legislators to help position Colorado as a leader in Health IT programs that improve the quality, safety, access and cost-effectiveness of patient care.
