As you know the in-person CHIMA Annual Meeting has been cancelled and we are going virtual!
How does the virtual CHIMA meeting work? With the virtual meeting, the speakers will record their sessions and the recordings will be posted into the Learning Management System (LMS) on the CHIMA website. Once attendee registration is open, a person can purchase individual sessions or the bundle pack of sessions via the CHIMA website. Registrants can then listen to the recordings on a day and time that works for them. After listening to the session and completing the meeting evaluation, you can access your CE certificate within the LMS. A registrant will have 60 days from the date of their registration to listen to the recordings.
What happens with your in-person meeting registration fee? All in-person registration fees will be refunded and a new registration will be opened for the virtual Annual Meeting. To receive your refund for the in-person meeting, click here to tell us how to process your refund.
When does the virtual Annual Meeting registration open? After all speaker sessions are recorded, registration for the virtual meeting will open. The goal is to open registration in mid to late September.
CHIMA Annual Business Meeting: The CHIMA Annual Business Meeting that is usually held at the CHIMA Annual Meeting will also be held virtually. Terri Piland and Kim Aragon, CHIMA Past President and President, have recorded the Business Meeting for you to listen to from the comfort of your home or office.
