|Code medical records and enter codes into computer for billing and statistical purposes. Process face sheets, assemble charts, and complete other job related duties as needed. This is an onsite position.|
|Process inpatient and swing bed admission face sheets and discharge summaries.|
|Code therapies and ancillary departments.|
|Assemble and process discharged inpatient and swing bed records.|
|Conduct documentation analysis and complete follow-up of discharged inpatient and swing bed records.|
|Order departmental supplies and conduct routine equipment monitoring|
|Submit monthly incomplete record summaries to lab, x-ray, therapies, nurses, and doctors.|
|Other job related duties as assigned.|

|Requires confidentiality regarding patient records and medical information.|
|Requires confidentiality regarding employee information.|
Preferred Qualifications: Education Qualifications:
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Must have completed an accredited coding program or course of study in medical coding. Will be required to sit for Coding credential exam (AHIMA or AAPC) within 1 year of hire date.
Must have excellent spelling and keyboarding skills.
Must have knowledge of basic computer and medical terminology.
